Local chimney and fireplace cleaning, inspection, repair and installation for Morrison homeowners.
Serving Morrison
Morrison is a small historic town tucked into the foothills near Red Rocks, with older homes set against the hogback and canyon. Its foothills location gives it a different character — and a different climate — than the metro below.
Saturn Chimney & Fireplace provides chimney and fireplace cleaning, inspection, repair and installation for homeowners in Morrison and throughout the Denver Metro.
Local climate & your chimney
Morrison's canyon-and-foothills setting funnels wind that works at chimney caps and flashing, and many of its homes are old enough to have weathered masonry. The mix of older structures and foothills exposure makes the crown and cap worth watching.
Sitting near the foothills, this area catches downslope and canyon winds that work at caps, covers and flashing, along with the freeze-thaw cycles that come with cold nights and sunny days. Homes closer to the hills often burn wood, which adds creosote to the list of things to watch.

For a regularly used wood-burning system, an annual inspection and cleaning is a sensible baseline — ideally before the heavy-burning months. Gas systems still benefit from periodic inspection.
